Default Can I grow a Chinese sand Pear Tree in Pittsburgh?

Can I take the seeds from Chinese sand pears (sold as asian pears in wal-mart) and plant them in the SW Pennsylvania climate? We can grow cicle pears here. Or are these things more delicate than our climate will allow to thrive?
