Default can i grow my own chirtmas tree? beginer needs guidance?

hi. i am a beginer in gardening and really enjoy it. i have grow mint in the past and want to go further. i want to grow my own christmas tree for next year. (dont like the plastic stuff) i have
been reading that as i dont have a large garden the only trees i can grow are: Instead, try:

* Abies koreana - grows to 12m (40ft) and therefore more suitable for the smaller garden.
* Abies procera - silvery-blue, fragrant tips, smooth, grey bark, and good needle retention.
* Abies fraseri - soft needles, which also hold well, and strong boughs that are ideal for supporting heavy ornaments.

i have read that they need alot of sunshine and needs to be planted in febuary. now we dont have much sunshine in the uk during that time and just needed abit of guidance. by the way i dont have a green house.
if it is not possible for me at all to grow a christmas tree then are there any ideas any gardener can give me as i have a bare garden and i want it to flourish..please help
