Default Care of Prune Fruit Trees in the State of Michigan?

Live in the State of Michigan. Have 2 Prune Trees, approximately 7 years old. Have beared fruit 2 times only.
Small fruits, tasty to eat, discolored. After a couple of years,
these trees blossom every spring, the blossoms "browned" and no fruit developed. There is new growth every spring on the trees, no web nests or worms develop in the late spring.

Does anyone have an answer to the problem of no bearing
fruit?

The trees are grown in a small town, no spraying on these trees, surrounding trees are one large Oak, Apple, Cherry
Maple and Blue Spruce and White Pine.
