there are books for this. look up Audubon. or visit and audubon center or nature preserve. they ALWAYS have pro-bird propagand--information all over the place.
anything that HAS berries is food for birds -- at least some kind of bird will eat it at some time of the year if the bird is there to find the berry.
Poison Ivy has berries that is food for birds in the winter! I learned that in audubon.
i just did a search for "wild bird plants" on amazon and gots lots of results. couldn't find that really good book that Audubon was pushing at me
