Everyday should be plant a tree day. I always have fresh Oak seedlings ready for the time and place. Believe or not you are celebrating the day. Good for you!

Not in the ground yet but have repotted on seedling. I planted my whole garden - all shrubs, trees and plants are essential to life on earth and they are great air purifiers.

Just planted a bare root contorted willow that I grew from a cutting from another I have. I put in a really boggy patch so it should do well.

This year I planted a whitebud (redbud only white blooms), four dogwoods, two bird cherries, a Prairie fire flowering crab, a catalpa and a pine tree.

ooo
plantin a tree is soO cool
and i think people who dont celebrate christmas should do that
i personally celebrate but i think that people should plant trees just for the cause
sooo many trees are cut down each year and people dont realize
like 4 example.....my house hold just received their yellow pages
and around here everybody gets their yellow pages
just think how many trees are cut down just for that
...i think its pretty sad
