Default i have a forest pansy tree with seed pods, how do i grow the seeds?

it is getting cold here, PA, and i would love to grow another, how and when do i do it?

You can sow Forest Pansy (Cersis canadensis 'Forest Pansy') seeds directly in fall if the seed has not dried out completely. Once the seed has dried, it must be soaked in an acid or boiling water bath to scarify the impervious seed coat followed by 3 months of cold stratification.
