I wanted to find a tree that can grow well indoors and after like 5 years plant

outside.? I live in Minnesota which has cold winters and wanted to get a plant that I can keep indoors transplanting it once a year and after about five years plant it outside. Any suggestions?
Also were can I buy seeds for plants such as a Norfolk pine and the plant that you suggest.?
