Default If a tree, bush or plant were to be used in space for CO2 absorption and O2

production, which would b the best Clearly it must have the properties:
1) Maximum O2 production
2) Maximum CO2 adsorption
3) Fast Growing (ie Weed) to produce it in space..
4) Compact.. ie a bush over a tree
5) Minimal maintainance in terms of water, light, soil
6) Preferably light independent?? Think deep ocean life where light cannot reach.. where do they get they're O2 from?

Finally, clearly this is potentially an issue tackled long ago by the aerospace agencies.. is they're a database recording such properties of flora?
