Default we have got roots growing in our drains how can i tell if it is mango tree

or neighbours tree causing this? they have gotten that bad i have been told that mango trees dont do this? the neighbours tree roots are all over our yard above the ground i dont know what sort of tree it is mother in law says its a fig? how can i get rid of it once and for all and how can i identify the roots PLEASE!!
