Default Why did God put the tree of good and evil in the garden if he didn't want them to...

...eat from it? And since He's omniscient, He knew they were going to eat it.

And also, since He's all-powerful, if he didn't want them to eat it, how were they able to resist the Almighty Will? I can't even resist gravity.

Is there anything that God wants that we can prevent from happening?
