Default Why dont trees grow right to the top of high mountain?

why do trees grow taller as you go from top to bottom down a mountain?

It is because the amount of oxygen they can receive but also soil is sometimes fertile. There is a tree line on mountains where the air is too thin and trees wont even grow.
