...vegetable garden? I read about a neat idea of doing a veggie tray like a vegetable garden. I am doing a veggie tray for my 3 year old cousin's birthday party and it is a tractor theme, so I thought this would be realy cute and encourage the kids to eat the veggies.

Does anyone have a link with photos or instructions? Or even any ideas on how this could be done?

I know exactly what you are talking about. I can't remember where I saw it either.

You can cut up broccoli for the trees/bushes and use those little carrots for bridges.

You can get some ranch dip and add some green food coloring for the grass and set your broccoli in it to stand up.

You can slice some mushrooms and lay those down as a cobblestone road.

Make a river by using hummus.

You can make a raft/boat out of a celery and add a flag to it and sit it on top of the river.

No photos, but think on this. Take a large semi-flat basket, use 4 inch pots of all herbs that you find at the garden store place moss over the tops of pots... a major center feature could be kale. If you have little toy farmer people, put them in there. Surround the basket with the cut up veggies you want the kids to eat. There must be dipping sauces... That's where you should put the tractor. Sounds like a darling idea, but you must know kids, they'd rather have hot dogs.
