First of all, their wouldn't be any insects from the birds frolicking and eating them. And secondly, there probably wouldn't be any shade because all of the leaves would have fallen after being infected with some kind of blight, because it wasn't sprayed with a fungicide when it's leaves began to break bud! And thirdly, There wouldn't be any "good" fruit. All the bugs that the birds didn't eat would be feeding on it, along with a few coddling moth larvae chewing their way to oblivion inside of this fruit, because once again, it wasn't sprayed with an insecticide to control unwanted fruit eating bugs! This kind of fruit is not something that I would like to munch into. So, about the only relevant statement in your question is ....that the tree would have plenty of water and sunshine. And the fact that there may be a few birds looking for that last tasty morsel crawling in the leafless branches!
