Default i'm growing tomatoes which are going wild! what other fruits are easy to grow?

whether they are in season or not is beyond me, but being the person i am, i just took a couple of seeds from an m & s cherry tomato and placed them in a ball of cotton wool, watered it, put it in a warm spot in the kitchen and crash boom bang, away it fired, sprouted like nothing else. i replanted them and now they're on the window sill in direct sunlight. I hope its not too cold there. I will monitor them carefully (i looked at some seedlings at a shop for instructions...this is the sort of thing i do!) and it said they ought to be planted end feb/march...! i guess i have precocious tomatoes!
