Is there a good book on seasons for fruits and vegetables from a culinary...
...(rather than gardening) perspective? An encyclopaedia or classic publication would be great, rather than a celebrity chef's book.

Try the encyclopedia of whole foods Nicola Graimes ISBN 0754801942 tells you a lot of good things
